I bought an ide to sata adapter at compusa to connect an old ide hard drive to my sata board. I tried every jumper setting on the drive (ie: master, slave, etc...) but it is not recognized when I boot and it seems to delay the boot process quite a bit. Any body ever use one of these things? Also the adapter has a connection for power that uses a floppy type power cable.
