Don't Pay A Fortune For Antivirus Software
By Josh Sommers
As a computer technician one thing I am constantly harping on is the absolute need for Antivirus software and Antispyware software on every computer. No exceptions. There are so many issues I fix on a daily basis that could easily be prevented with these simple tools!
No one likes paying for insurance, and that is just what Antivirus software is. It is to protect against something that "might, or might not" happen. What If I told you that the number one antivirus tool I use and recommend as a computer technician is free? Yep, free. And free does not mean cheap!

AVG is a very good antivirus. I have been using it for years and I recommend it to anyone. What's most important? It's free.. so you can spend other money for a better firewall or keep the money to upgrade your PC. For whatever reason you use your PC, it is sure that sooner or later you will need an antivirus. even if you trust 100% the sites you visit.
Thanks
I like most kaspersky antivirus.. has a nice heuristic mechanism and i never had an issue with it.. That i like most is the very often updates it is doing.. in order to always know any news virus/trojan and things like that..
I use AVG too, but I have a the paid version

Small price to pay for that level of security.
I was always wondering how many people pay for that kind of stuff? Unfortunately there are many cracks/hacks out there so you don't have to use the original version, but that is happening everywhere. I do pay for my kaspersky license too! Xboxer.. have you ever used Kaspersky? and if yes which of two you believe is better?
I have been paying for software for about 5 years. All I can say is I still have my computer that runs FAST with no errors. I think it was well worth the money spent.

I haven't tried it yet, but it seems to be one of the more highly rated ones.
I use Symantic Antivirus and that is because it is provided for free at my University and I'm not sure if it is a free antivirus software anywhere else. It works perfectly fine, it tells me when there's a suspicious file on my computer and it pretty much deletes it when the risk is very high.
I never pay for an antivirus but I make shure it's not crap before I get it. I don't think there is difference between having one for free and bying one if you know where to look.
Well I'm Using What My ISP Gave Me. And They Charge Very Little Amount So I'm Not Bothered About It.
