Full Version: outlook creates dummy file

When ever I send an attachment through outlook, a dummy file is created in the root directory. For example, if the file is located at c:\mailing\data a file is created on the c: drive. The file has the exact same name and extension but has 0 kb and when you try to open the file, you get an error. It does not matter what kind of file it is other than a zip file. Pdf's, word, excel.... all do the same thing.
That sounds like a waste of space to me Smile Has it always done that?
It is with outlook 2007. it has been happening for the past few weeks
Maybe try using Thunderbird instead? It's always been reliable. Smile
