I would like to suggest you create a section with:

1) Dedicated Servers Talk
2) Colocated Servers Talk
3) Dedicated Servers Offers / Requests
4) Colocated Servers Offers / Requests

so as anyone interested in these fields could be able to post and/or find the server he/she needs..

Or maybe just a general hosting discussion area until the forum grows?

That's a good idea to start with, and maybe a general marketing forum for offers and requests as the need arises. We can always add more when there is more demand.
