Whats Up Guys,

I am managing this guys webpage in dreamweaver (just started). He just needs me to do a few simple things, change address, pictures, etc. I entered all the correct info for the ftp settings in dreamweaver. And it DOES connect to the remote server. After making changes to a page and saving, when I sync up everything appears to go fine. But when I go to view the page on the internet NONE of the changes I made show up:upset::4-dontkno
I really have no idea why this is. Maybe its something simple I am overlooking. Could it be that the original guy that was managing this page did it on a PC and I am managing it on a MAC? would this really make a differance. Am I missing a step?
If you have changed things, it should show, no matter what editor you choose. Did you save it? Silly question I know, but it can happen Big Grin
You should also make sure that it really is your problem and that everything is stable on the server you are uploading and making changes on. You never know, if you're doing everything right then more than likely it's their problem.
I am using dreamweaver to edit code but not using it for upload. I am using wincmd or total commander to upload files to the server. Why not try it out? Connect with it to your ftp and make a very simple edit to a file, check if it is working. If it is, great! You can do your job Smile
