Microsoft said on Sunday that it has raised the possibility of a new deal with Yahoo, one that may involve buying a part of the company but not all of it.

I still dont see the actual point of Microsoft buying Yahoo! - Yahoo!'s services are already appauling including their paid hosting, it takes upto 72 hours for their staff to reply to technical e-mails with web hosting support - that in today's business standards are unacceptable. It would be good, however for Microsoft to intergrate their Hotmail service with the Yahoo! Mail service or vice versa. I am sure they have something up their sleeves.
