Would anyone here know how to connect a TV to a CPU so that the TV could be used as a "monitor" of sorts?
I have nerver tried to do this but I have tryed to connect moniter to a converter so that moniter can be used as a TV. This id the poddible way you can do.
It's basically the same thing as what thoran said. Back when I used a PC I would hook it up to my plasma screen in the living room by using a converter and the same way you would hook up a monitor to it. Workedl ike a charm.
It also depends on what TV you are going to use. I had a small tv screen i bought. And when my pc monitor died, i replaced it with that one. I could with the remote control switch from PC to TV. I could the same time insert a tv cable, so i could play AND watch TV.
The colors were not just the same, so i changed. But i can assure you there are lots of cheap tv's out there thats easy to connect to a pc
there are even ways to connect your plasma t.v. wirelessly ive seen that so i know you can do it. its pretty cool when hooked up not to expensive either, like thoran said you need some type of converter but i would do i price check on the wireless ones depending on your area you live in you would know where to get one. but if you get that hooked up write me back id like to watch that t.v. with you lol...
