Firstly apologise for my lack of p.c savy
i wonderd if any tech heads out there could tell me
whether quad or dual core processors are the faster ?
it would seem obvious but i have seen reviews were dual core
seemed to out gun the quad core?
for instance a dual core running at say 3mhz or a quad running at 2.4
life used to be so straight forward when they used to tell you how fast they were
is there anyway of calculating how powerfull a processor is
and is computing power the same as speed ?
i ask all this as in the next few weeks i will be buying a new p.c
with a budget of around £1000 any other advice as what would contribute to a powerfull stable system would be appreciated
i have also had a lot of trouble with a major pc manufactures
support so anyone out there who has positive recomendations with
regaurd to a pc manufacturer's after service would be welcome
